“An unknown error has occurred" or Outlook error 0×80040600

A small discussion of “An unknown error has occurred"-

MS Outlook is a web based mail server program. Its popularity is spread all over the world wide. In the MS Outlook user can send, receive mail. If the user using the version Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, 2002, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP he or she may receives the Outlook error 0x80040600 on the System screen.
Outlook allows to accessing the calendar, task, journal, email, contacts etc inside the application. You can find Inbox Repair Tool-
Click on Start and in the search option click All files and Folders.
In the file name box type Scanpst.exe and double click on it to start the Inbox Repair Tool.

You can run Inbox Repair Tool-
In the Enter name of the file you want to scan box type the location of the Outlook. pst file then click on start. After the operation will be completed click on ok.

After applying this method you may not found error message, when attempt to read and delete the email message by the Outlook application. This step may be helpful to you in which you can fix Outlook error 0x80040600.
